Gareth Pugh A/W14 Photography by Dimitri Hyacinthe

The Autumn/Winter 2014 runway show from Gareth Pugh took an unusual turn from Pugh's normally dark and macabre esthetic. This season we see an almost entirely white color palette, featuring ice white textures coupled with ethereal and supernatural elements. Pugh’s classic asymmetric shapes mixed with voluminous dresses were featured along with one standout look which took surreal to the extreme with the addition of an almost mechanical 3D sculpture. This was Pugh’s ghostly take on a wind-up doll and a throwback to one of his 2004 collections.
